Three copies of the Granth Sahib were brought by Afghan Sikhs who were evacuated by India from Kabul and landed in Delhi on Tuesday morning.

A batch of 78 people evacuated from Kabul landed in Delhi from Dushanbe where they were flown in first from Afghanistan.
The passengers included both Indian and Afghan nationals.
India has been evacuating its nationals and also Afghan Sikhs and Hindus from Kabul after the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan on August 15. Over 700 people, including some Afghan lawmakers, have been brought to Delhi as part of the evacuation mission.

Violent clashes were seen in Amritsar&nbsp;on Saturday between the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) task force and the Guru Granth Sahib Satkar Committee over 328 missing 'saroops' of Sri Guru Granth Sahib.
The Guru Granth Sahib Satkar Committee, which has been protesting for over 40 days, clashed with SGPC&nbsp;members&nbsp;injuring 6 people, who were rushed to the nearest hospital.&nbsp;SGPC&nbsp;alleged unarmed people were attacked with swords, but the Satkar Committee claims they had been protesting peacefully when force was used on them.
Unrest between the two organisations started in May this year when a retiring employee of SGPC alleged 267 "saroops" of the Guru Granth Sahib had been dispatched without these being entered into official records.
